“Your network is your net worth” is one of those lines you nod at and then forget. For me it turned out to be fairly literal.
I work in the orbit of BlitzMetrics, Dennis Yu’s company. In practice that means no conference selfies, but actual work together. A week in Cologne that started at the bakery in the morning and ended in the edit at night. A dinner where I introduced two people who had not met. An afternoon at Motorworld with someone who has been building for years.
What I take from it is less a method than an order of operations: do something first, then write about it. The stories on this site are not reports about other people. They are notes from projects I was part of.
