Justin Sonnenreich is the founder and CEO of MarkitAds, a performance marketing firm in Bethesda, Maryland. His model: campus activations run by trained student operators, billed per verified account instead of per impression. He is a UNC graduate, has two exits behind him before turning 25, and has worked with Kylie Cosmetics among others. Like me, he is coached by Dennis Yu.
We met through that circle, and I built his personal-brand website. That was the case where I understood why the method works: Justin’s business is made of verifiable numbers. A website leaning on adjectives instead would actively hurt him. So the starting point was not design — it was the question of what proof exists.
Later the three of us sat at Timberjacks — Justin, Dennis and me. Bringing two people together who benefit from each other is the most underrated kind of work.
